Sorry if this is a noob Q, but how do you calculate hitpoints or lifepoints for monsters in GW?

I don't think you really can. People just use skills that will do the same damage each time and estimate how much health the monster has.

[gb] would be an idea. Would hurt my brain trying to work it out, but it's certainly possible.

You could always do health degen times # of seconds until death. Assuming target can not heal.
edit: Yeah, Grenth's Balance would be good.

Does anyone have reasonable guesstimates then. Please post how you attained these.

I don't thiunk there have ever been any studies on higher levelled creatures.
I remember some-one testing upto Yak's bend (the monsters)
But that was years ago =/

For the most part, monsters will follow the same progression as we do [80+(20xlvl)].

Occasionally, you get beefed up ones, like Wurms and certain boss-like creatures. If you run into those, you'll have to manually work it out.
